I’m interested in sub-saharan Africa, interpreting studies, development studies, and migration. To explore questions at the intersection of these three fields I rely on qualitative methods, such as ethnographic field research and in-depth interviews.
This blog is a space for me to write about current developments in my field, experiment with ideas that might not (yet) be suitable for academic publication and contribute to current debates around translation, multilingual/intercultural communication, North-South cooperation, research methods and academia.
